This is the political question of 2012 that Mitt Romney might not be able to answer. Where does he stand on the issues. Because he's had so many positions on them over the years and in 2012 alone, that his Republican opponents brought up during the primaries.

Beans Baxter: Jafar Fallahi- On The Seattle News: Prostitution

Source: Beans Baxter-
Source: Beans Baxter: Jafar Fallahi on The Seattle News: Prostitution

I look at prostitution like I look at gambling and marijuana. I'm not in favor of any of them at least in the sense that I would do any of them and I've made that personal choice for myself, but that doesn't mean I believe I have the right to force people to comply to my position on that. I believe government should not be telling people what they can do with their own bodies and how they should live their own lives.

We as a country have much more difficult problems to deal with as a country than prostitution and I'm sure the City of Seattle has much worse problems to be dealing with as a City, than whether or not people are selling themselves sexually or making money having sex or running a prostitution business.

And people who are of course against legalizing prostitution, argue that prostitutes spread diseases, but I would argue that prostitution whether its legal or not will always be with us. Its the oldest profession in the world for a reason and taxing and regulating it, which is what Las Vegas and Canada have done, is a much more effective way to deal with prostitution in America.

You think Uncle Sam and his nephews and nieces, are too greedy and have too much power and money now, start criminalizing everything that is dangerous and that comes with risks in America. And big government in America would soon look like a Communist State. Where people are afraid of eating or drinking something,. because they're worried about getting arrested for it. Without sex whether it comes with a price or not, we would then cease to exist as a country. Like sex prostitution will always be with us whether we like it or not. The question is then what do we do about it. A better option is to legalize it so you can than regulate it and make sure everyone involved is as healthy as possible before they get involved in the business. And aren't threats to the people who work in it.

The Young Turks: Cenk Uygur- John Fuglesang: Jesus, Republicans & The GOP

Source: The Young Turks-
Source: The Young Turks: Cenk Uygur- John Fuglesang: Jesus, Republicans & The GOP

Vote Jesus is pretty simple as far as what the message is. "Vote Republican or you are voting against Christianity and America. You are voting against people who don't believe in these things." It's a desperate hail marry from the parking lot perhaps in a different city where the stadium is and where the game is being played, attempt to make Democrats look like Un-American Atheist Socialists. Or like John Fuglesang and The Young Turks.

But on a more serious note I take the Christian-Right's claim for their support for Jesus, like I take the broader Republican Party's support for Ronald Reagan the same way. Which is not very seriously. And why do I say that? Well, because I'm right for one thing and it's the true as well, but if your'e someone who actually believes in facts and that facts matter, well you're in the minority at this point in America.

But it you want that from me, just look at what Ronald Reagan as either President or not as President and what he actually said and then look at what non-Conservative, anti-conservative really, Republicans who claim to love and admirer Ronald Reagan, but disagree with him on most of the key issues in the country.

Reagan didn't want big government in America's bedrooms and homes. He couldn't give a damn about what free people did in the privacy of their own homes and lives, short of hurting innocent people. He's the man who said America was a nation of immigrants and was a the city on a shining hill. And believed American diversity and individualism was worth celebrating. The Christian-Right and broader Far-Right in America, claim to love Jesus and Ronald, because they're both popular and because Reagan was a Republican and Jesus is who Christians celebrate and look up to, whether or not they actually understand what the man thought or believed in.

Foreign news coverage of one of the most important periods in American history. Which is the power of BBC especially BBC News which is basically the CNN of Britain as far as their reach in their own country, but also in Europe and around the world.

I believe one of the reasons why the civil rights era and movement was covered not just so heavily in America where of course it should have been covered heavily, but around the world as well, was because America has always been at least since post-World War II as the beacon and spokesperson for liberal democracy. Not just in America, but around the world as well. And yet this was a country that was denying roughly 1-10 of its own Americans their constitutional and equal rights under law. Laws prohibiting African-Americans from even getting an education, as well as voting and even getting employment or even bank loans. Which is what Russia and Cuba, used against America during the Cold War and saying that we were hypocritical to speak out against authoritarianism around the world when we were subsidizing authoritarianism against one race of Americans in their own country.

The Majority Report: Sam Seder Interviewing Jill Stein- Green New Deal

Source: The Majority Report-
Source: The Majority Report: Sam Seder Interviewing Jill Stein- Green New Deal

I have no problem as a Liberal Democrat with Jill Stein running for President for the Green Party politically or philosophically. Because she would be lucky to get 1-5% of the vote for President. And that's assuming both Democrats and Republicans forget to vote. Perhaps both party's will pass laws at the last minute, prohibiting the other party from voting. Like those so-called bogus ( to be generous ) Voter ID laws.

Libertarian Gary Johnson, has a better opportunity to cost President Obama the election and philosophically I don't have a problem either, because she is the Socialist voice for President. ( Especially since contrary to to popular belief with the Tea Party, Barack Obama is actually not a Socialist )

Barack Obama is the Center-Left pragmatic Progressive candidate for President, but not liberal enough for me. And Mitt Romney is basically the Conservative candidate for President ( depending on which Mitt Romney he decides to be or even who he is talking to and campaigning for ) and you can argue whether Mitt is a Conservative to begin with. But that's a different discussion.

Gary Johnson is the real Liberal in the race, but he's running as a Libertarian. But Jill Stein is the real Socialist voice in this presidential election and a country as big as we are and politically diverse as we are, all of our political factions deserve a voice in politics. Which is the main weakness with our two party political system.

Ben Affleck, taking another stand for Big Government! I could just imagine him running for office as a wannabe politician and imagine what his campaign message would be.

He would say something to the affect, “if you think you have too much freedom and privacy in your life and have too many decisions to make, vote for Ben Affleck. Because I would support policies to take all of that freedom and privacy away from you. Vote for Ben Affleck and you won’t even have to worry about your private parts being private. Because I would appoint Dick Grabbing to run TSA for us. And he would take care of that for you. And he and his Dick Grabbers will be there to make sure your private parts are never too private at the airport.”

Now imagine that for a campaign theme. Americans For Big Government and the Nanny State Alliance and Americans For Outlawing Freedom and Privacy, would endorse Mr. Affleck faster than snow melts in Los Angeles in July.

Source: Cowie 74H-
Where they got the title of this video of “sucking Michael Jackson hot white”, I have no idea. Because this video has absolutely nothing to do with Michael Jackson. It is simply a beautiful brunette sitting on the stool on her cell phone from late 2008. In a tank top and skinny denim jeans. And she looks great, but the video is short, but what she get to see from her is pretty sexy. Again a beautiful baby-face brunette on her phone with beautiful legs and a nice butt in skinny denim jeans. I wish I knew the jeans brand, but a very attractive women.

But this video has nothing to do with Michael Jackson. It is simply a very attractive women sitting on her stool pretending to be on the phone. "Sexy Brunette With a Call", or #Sexy Brunette Makes The Call",  or "Sexy Brunette on The Stool", all would have been accurate titles for this video. And people would have an easier time finding this video, because they would know what the hell they're looking for. Instead of searching Michael Jackson and never seeing this video even though his name is all over it.

Source: Talk Radio News Service: Tales From The Spin Room- Democrats React

When one side is talking about the behavior of their opponent in a debate and aren't talking about the substance of the debate, they are admitting they lost the debate, the same thing with the Obama Campaign making the first debate about the moderator, when they knew they lost.

Imagine a football team's head coach who's team just lost by 21 points and at the post game press conference he's saying that, "well, the reason why we lost the game because our opponents tackled really hard and played really aggressive. They're offensive line blocked really tough and they just did things that should be illegal in this league and we weren't ready for that style of play. Otherwise we would've whipped them because we have a better team." How ridiculous would that have looked to the press and the fans of his team with the head coach complaining about the other team playing too hard and his team not ready for that.

I realize we're talking about American politics and one of the keys of survival and they teach this in political science is not to make public what you're actually feeling. Especially when the news is negative. And instead talk to people including the media as if  they're morons. Not because they're morons but so you can keep your supporters with you. And now the secret is out why used car salesman and personal injury attorney's, are more popular than politicians and the people who work for them. Vice President Joe Biden won the debate tonight, because he was stronger and tougher for his boss President Obama, than Representative Paul Ryan was for Governor Romney.

PDX Justice: Greg Palast- 'The Best Democracy Money Can Buy'

Source: PDX Justice- Greg Palast-
Source: PDX Justice: Greg Palast- 'The Best Democracy Money Can Buy'

In a liberal democracy like America, you want the people and that is everyone who can vote at least, be able to not only question, but lobby their public officials including Congress, the President, as well as their state and local public officials. Lobbying by itself is not a crime, a sin, or even a problem. Giving money to politicians, is not a crime, or sin, or a problem by itself.

It's when lobbying and financial contributions, go underground when politics goes underground it's when it becomes a problem. When Senator Smith or whoever, takes millions from the oil and gas industry and constantly votes against clean air standards and most people including the people who Senator Smith is supposed to represent, don't know that their Senator took all of that oil and gas money.

The Senator Smith example is just a hypothetical, but if you're desperate for me to be bipartisan or even nonpartisan, how about Senator Jones who consistently votes against public choice and even public school choice and then it later turns out that Senator Jones takes millions of dollars from teacher unions who of course are against any school choice and even private schools at all. And of course Senator Jones constituents don't know about those campaign contributions.

Especially what I call blind or coin flip voters, people if so-called Voter ID laws  ( which are really Democratic voter suppression laws ) have any use for at all it would be for non-educated voters. Not talking about people who didn't go to college or even finish high school. But people who don't know who they're voting for or against. Because they haven't done their homework on perspective political candidates. Perhaps their dog ate their homework, or perhaps they simply just fed their dog their homework. And decided not to do their homework, because they were too busy staring at their i-phone, or worried about missing their favorite reality TV show.

Again, I'm not against lobbying or even private sector and individual campaign contributions. It's when they're blind because either voters are too dumb and irresponsible to follow the money, ( to use a cliche ) or the politician is not required under law to disclose those political contributions. And of course they wouldn't do it voluntarily especially if they have a consistent voting record backing the groups that they take money from. In any free and open liberal democratic society like America, you have to have disclosure and it has to be enforced responsibility, to prevent politicians from being bought. And you also need smart educated voters to hold their public officials accountable.

Grassroots Booster Club- RT America- Jill Stein: 'Barack Obama Has Been Worst Than George W. Bush'

Source: Grassroots Booster Club
Source: Grassroots Booster Club: RT America- Jill Stein: 'Barack Obama Has Been Worst Than George W. Bush'

First of all, to correct the record: 25% of the 2009 American Recovery Act were tax cuts, all targeted to the middle class. Tax cuts that both Mitt Romney and Jill Stein want to repeal, resulting in tax hikes for the, well middle class. People who simply can't afford to pay extra in taxes right now. So there's at least one area that separates President Obama from both Governor Romney and Dr. Stein, who claimed that the Recovery Act was mostly tax cuts and she said a couple of days ago, tax cuts for the rich.

Completely bogus ( to be overly generous ) claims and it's beyond me how someone who is running for President of the United States and won their party's nomination for President, does not know that. But people who are aren't running for President do know that, because they've actually seen the bill. Under Dr. Stein those tax cuts disappear as well as all the Bush tax cuts, including the middle class tax cuts, that took more working Americans off of the tax rolls and lowered the bottom tax rate. People who are low-income workers and lower middle class workers pay, to 10%. Vote for the Green Party, you are voting for middle class tax hikes.

As far as the Green Deal, based off of the New Deal from the 1930s, ( obviously duh! ) putting the Federal Government essentially in charge of job creation and economic growth and would put the Federal Government in charge of prioritizing what projects and what works need to be done in America. Putting the Federal Government in charge of hiring all of these unemployed workers to do this work. And one way that Dr. Stein says she would pay for this, a roughly 800B$ Stimulus Package, all public sector centered, is by pulling all of our troops out of the Afghan and Iraq Wars. By ending those wars.

I'm for ending those wars now myself, but the problem with financing an economic plan with money from Afghanistan and Iraq, is that both of those wars were put on the National Debt Card. Not a dime of either war has ever been paid for. So what a hypothetical ( or perhaps science fiction ) Stein Administration would do, is stop the borrowing of hundreds of billions of dollars to fund one thing and take all of that money to be borrowed to pay for something else.

I hate to put it this way, because I'm not a fan of the two-party system, even as a Liberal Democrat. Whose party has benefited greatly from it, but a vote for Jill Stein for President, is literally a vote for Mitt Romney. The more votes that President Obama doesn't get, are votes that don't go against Mitt Romney. And the way to fix this in the future, is to blow up the two-party system and replace it with a system that would accompany, Democratic Socialists, like the Greens, Libertarians and Independents.
